In the conditions of the World Pandemic, Batumi Ilia Chavchavadze State Drama Theatre, in full compliance with the recommendations and regulations of the Ministry of Health, has developed an emergency action plan in accordance with the given conditions. Interruption in the creative process, disruption of the creative rhythm can cause significant damage to the theatrical repertoire, the theatre troupe and creative-productive process.
On the given conditions the Theatre has promptly changed the creative plans and on July 17-18, 2020 is presenting a new premiere performance – Nino Kharatishvili’s “Electra’s War”. The play is directed and staged by Guram Matskhonashvili, composer – Erekle Deisadze. The cast: Megi Kobaladze (Electra), Lia Abuladze (Clytemnestra), Giorgi Korganashvili (Orestes), Dimitri Melia (Aegisthus), Anano Iashvili (Chrysothemis), Nato Gogitauri (guard), Nino Kvitaishvili (guard).
The play will be performed in different conditions, in a different space in front of the main building of the Batumi Drama Theatre, in the open air (address: N1 Rustaveli Street).
