What happens when we are suddenly befallen by the feelings we are unable to control? What is passion? How does it occur? Do we really know what moment this or that feeling appears? Why do we humans destroy relationships? Why are we afraid of the emotions that we are unable to cope with? Passion is a weapon which, when wrongly directed, can prove disastrous. Love is unimaginable without passion but passion can at times appear without love.

“Closer” is a play about love, unexpectedly appeared desires, emotional hunger, loneliness and demands for wild sensations; about the people who cannot live without each other but neither can they live together. Strangely complicated quadrangle of four characters ending in terrible result.  It is a story about the people who seek for love and when they find it, instead of preserving it, destroy everything around them. Demand for more, need to experience sensations again, fear against being lonely and selfishness – these are situations, the characters appear in and try to find the way out but fall into more difficult problems instead.
