“As Many Demons As You Like” according to Jerzhy Pilch’s novel and staged by Polish director Yacek Glomb is a theatrical thriller based on real facts. In a small village of southern Poland where religion is an inseparable part of everyday life and where there are as many faiths as the houses, a young girl disappears. The whole village gets involved in the search. Maybe she ran away from home? Maybe she is the captive of Gonets’s omnipotent authorities? Maybe one of the villages killed her? Or maybe there are the demons behind the scenes that are so often mentioned by the villagers?  How do we know that they are not the originators of all the evil among us? Each member has his/her own small of big secret in this dark crime. Here rational and supernatural worlds merge and it is up to you which one you choose to believe in. History unifies complicated criminal mystery, exceptional humor and fundamental questions about human evil nature.
