The Georgian version of the play was accomplished within the frames of the program – “Performing Art Promotion” of the Ajara AR Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, in collaboration with the British Council in Georgia. The aim of the program is the raise professional level of the performing art field in Ajara and enhance creative contacts between the performing art representatives in Georgia and Great Britain.

“So It Goes” is a play by British directors Hannah Moss and David Ralph. The opening night was held at Edinburgh Fringe festival in 2014. Since then the performance has traveled around Britain. The Georgian actors perform in the Georgian version of the play at Batumi State Drama theatre.

The story is based on the true story from Hannah’s private life. Her father died of cancer when she was 17. There is no dialogue in the performance. The actors inform about their feelings through writings on the board or physical and visual expression. The reason why there is no talk during the entire play is that we want to show how hard it is to talk about the loss. Thus, we want to grasp the real nature of deep sorrow.
