Synopsis:
The production is based on motifs from Gogol’s and Tolstoy’s Letters of a Madman. By combining different scenes and adding new episodes, a solo performance has been created that explores the conflict between the individual and society.
The themes at the heart of the work, including loneliness, alienation, social pressure, and the desire for freedom, remain relevant in every era, including the present day. It is a story of an individual’s inner struggle with a world that often fails to accept those who are different.
