Synopsis:

The staging of a famous story always aroused great interest among the audience. Director Mariam Sikharulidze chose Franz Kafka's world-renowned "Metamorphosis" - a novella where a person loses even his physical form. This phantasmagorical drama has many psychological, sociological, and subtextual layers, which, naturally, could not remain beyond the interest of theatrical art. This undoubtedly determined the choice of the young director.
