With the initiative and support of the Ministry of Culture of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, the Batumi Ilia Chavchavadze Professional State Drama Theatre will participate for the first time in the Black Sea International Theatre Festival in Trabzon, presenting the play “The Trouble of Daryspana”.

The creative company will present a new stage version of the production at the international festival on May 13 and 14.

The participation of the Batumi Drama Theatre in this festival will significantly contribute to the promotion of Georgian theatre on the international stage.

The festival, which has been held since 2000, aims to deepen cultural dialogue and cooperation among the countries of the Black Sea region and to develop the creative sector.
