Synopsis:

David Kldiashvili’s immortal prose works, because of their special nature, from the very beginning attracted and continue to attract the interest of Georgian (and not only Georgian) theatre. Of course, the Batumi Drama Theatre is not an exception. Director Giorgi Kashia, in collaboration with Valeri Otkhozoria, created a stage version of Darispan’s Trouble. A classic is a classic because, at any time and in any era, it shows reality in a new way, with a new view. Kldiashvili’s Darispan also travels from generation to generation, at the same time carrying comedy and tragedy, unending pain and eternal thought
